How does HKUST incubate more "DJI" in the Greater Bay Area after locating in Hkust
On August 10th, according to Beijing time, the International Architecture Awards 2023 winners were announced by The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design, The European Center for Architecture Art Design, and Urban Studies, and Metropolitan Arts Press, Ltd. The HKUST (GZ) campus project, designed and submitted by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates (KPF), has been honored with this prestigious award.

As a highly influential international architecture award, the International Architecture Awards (IAA) serve as a reflection of the global progress and evolving trends in architectural craftsmanship. The IAA not only guides the latest developments in design practices at the forefront of the architectural field but also aims to recognize outstanding achievements in architecture and urbanization from a global standpoint.
The master plan and design of the HKUST (GZ) campus aim to achieve a seamless integration of natural landscape and architecture. The campus design incorporates key advanced technologies in energy conservation and environmental protection, aimed at creating a green, intelligent, and sustainable development new benchmark.
The holistic campus design embraces the concept of a neighborhood community, with all specialized facilities converging around a central area to foster interdisciplinary collaboration and establish a closely-knit community model, promoting seamless connections.
